The Ponce Art Museum of Puerto Rico prioritizes offering a transforming experience through art. In times of crisis, the relationship with the community must be closer than ever. Likewise, supporting artists and their work is essential. The yearly gala offers its sponsors the possibility to invest in the community’s development and progress.
For the 2014 Gala, named Joy, Joy, Joy, we designed an invitation inspired in Jack Délano’s multidimensional work. Specifically, we adapted a series of letters drawn by the artist himself in 1953. Red and gold were the colors selected, referring to Christmas time, since the event was held close to the holidays.
